  Role Overview

  We are looking for a Murex Developer / Configuration Specialist with strong hands-on experience in Murex development and configuration, specifically for a Murex version upgrade project. Prior experience in upgrading from earlier Murex versions will be a strong advantage.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in Murex upgrade projects (MX.3 / MX.2 to higher versions).
  • Perform Murex development and configuration across modules.
  • Analyze upgrade impact, resolve compatibility issues, and support regression testing.
  • Customize Murex using Murex APIs, workflows, and scripts.
  • Work on configuration changes, parameter setup, and environment migration.
  • Collaborate with functional teams for issue analysis and resolution.
  • Support UAT, SIT, and post-go-live activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and upgrade-related reports.

  Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on Murex experience
  • Strong experience in:
    • Murex development & configuration
    • Murex upgrade projects (any earlier version upgrade experience)
  • Good knowledge of Murex architecture and modules:
    • Front Office, Risk, Back Office (any)
  • Experience with:
    • Murex workflows
    • Static data & configuration management
  • Strong SQL / Unix skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting and performance tuning

  Good to Have

  • Experience with MX.3 upgrade / patch upgrades
  • Exposure to CI/CD, release management in Murex environments
  • Banking or capital markets domain knowledge
  • Prior experience working in APAC region projects
